The second match in the North Down Sixes League took place tonight at Kirkistown Castle. Donaghadee were top of the table after the first match at Bangor. Conditions were fair at the start of the match but heavy rain and wind made conditions very difficult for all. The team tonight comprised Leo, Finn, Finley, Rhys and brothers Adam and Josh and all played extremely well and maintained the Dee’s position at the top of the table. Next match is at Clandeboye on Saturday 10th August. Thanks to all parents, grandparents and supporters tonight.
Golf Ireland Girls Interclub @Castlereagh Hills Golf Club Report – 25/07/2024
Today we headed to Castlereagh for the Ulster Girls Interclub competition. Two teams were entered and the girls worked their socks off around the course. There were some challenges, and lots of smiles as the girls set out to do something special. The teams did really well, and were against some tough competition. Team B ended the day with taking the second place spot! Fantastic!
The girls were great ambassadors for the club and a pleasure to be with – well done to all involved.
