After last weeks’ washout the Winter League resumed today. There were some fantastic scores with 10 of the 16 players playing within 1 shot or better of their handicaps.

The notable shots today came from the Eastwood twins who playing in separate groups both missed the 4th green to the right but despite the fact that the pin was tight to the bunker both managed to pitch it close and hole their putts. Another great pitch and putt came from Lewis Dunlop who from close to the front bunker at 4th hit it to 10 feet and then holed his putt.

There were 2 people who had 2’s at the 9th hole (Ryan Bennett and Mark Rea) but Graeme Hamilton had the 1st eagle of this year’s Winter League at the 2nd hole.

Jacob Eastwoods’ winning score of 22 points has helped move Team A into a 5 shot lead, but there is still all to play for next week.
