The Winter League reaches its climax next week, beginning Saturday 14th and the last week is a double-pointer. Together with the usual last couple of weeks news blackout it is sure to make for more excitement and expectation as to who the winners will be, not to mention the individual winter champion.

Alan Devonport’s Team One (The Latecomers) were holding a lead the last we heard but what has happened over the past couple of weeks? Are the individual leaders still in their purple patch or has a dark horse came up on the rails. We will just have to wait to find out.

The Winter League dinner (Friday 19th march) has always been a success. We can’t guarantee the early starters a clear head the following morning but we will do our best to make sure you have an enjoyable evening among friends. £12 will secure your place and this includes your meal, wine on the table and entertainment.
