CAPTAIN’S MATCH UPDATE |
| Donaghadee
ladies continued their successful run on Sunday 13 June with
a convincing win over Cushendall ladies in the Miele. This
is an interesting format played fourball betterball with two
matches at home at the same time as two matches away. Team
Captain Cynthia Burne looked after the ladies at Cushendall,
ably assisted by Penny Patterson at the Dee. There was much
texting between the two and it is doubtful if this competition
could have been played in the days before mobile phones.

too many from the clubs that finished third and fourth to
claim the final 2 qualifying spots. All in all, a valiant
