The ladies of Donaghadee Golf Club would have been forgiven for expressing concern about the weather as their Lady Captain’s Day approached. But, the golfing gods were gracious to them and as it turned out they generally all enjoyed fair weather for the duration of play. In the end it was Carol Davison who claimed the big prize with her victory being very popular and enormously well received by the large turnout of ladies at the prize giving and just reward for Carol’s efforts and progress from the start of the competition season.
