There were 79 cards - thank you for your support.

On the night the Captain (Jeff Aiken) commended the efforts of George Phillips Ulster Fourball Trophy Team and Ryan Hay’s Pierce Purcell Team who both recently bowed out of their respective competitions. The Captain thanked both full squads for their tremendous commitment and dedication and expressed his pride in how both side performed and conducted themselves throughout recent months of inter-club competition.

The Captain also took the time to commend all to enter the special mens’ competition on Lady Captain’s Day – this coming Friday, with tee off times after 4.00pm.

On his own Captain’s Day (August 7th) he would like to explain that the Jacket & Tie dress code does not apply to the John Nelson Room.

On a final note it was nice to see David Lyall sign off on a successful note as David heads to pastures new and begins a new career in England in pharmacy. Good luck David, look forward to regular returns to the Dee!
